a NOMADIC mission in america

Connect and join the Journey!
Ramblin' Home Ministries is a modern-day mission effort that began traveling the highways of America offering assistance to Churches with need and ministering to those within the nomadic community.
Between any arranged events we look to take advantage of opportunities to share Jesus with whosoever may cross our path.
Our travels often lead us to areas affording little to no internet access. With this, website maintenance is slower than desired. We ask for your patience and understanding as we ramble on with the site. Thanks!
We're ramblin' your way!
Meet Craig & ECHO
... this is US!
Echo and I joined forces in December of 2022. I was in need of a travel companion and she was in need of a home - it worked out perfectly! She's an Australian Kelpie rescue from Northern Arizona.
Having pared down all the "stuff" to be able to live full time on the bus, we’ve traded in a traditional lifestyle and are now Ramblin’!
It is truly humbling to think that the Lord has called me to this place in life. Our amazing God of second chances has given me just that – and orchestrated a new season of life! In this, Echo and I can’t wait to meet all the folks whose paths we'll cross. As anxious as I am to share my story, I'm just as anxious to hear yours. In 3+ years of living full time as a "bus dweller," I've learned a lot. Now, as much ( or little ) as I may know... I'm excited to share it while helping new friends make some life decisions. A large part of the mission is to provide an opportunity for people to gather together in sharing, learning and enjoying life!
The Ramblin' Home
Although the mission launched from Cleveland, OH, the bus originated in the heart of Mississippi! The inside was ripped apart, torn out and re-built into the Ramblin' Home!
1993 International 3800 Chassis with a Bluebird body
DT360 Engine with an Allison 545 transmission
38’ overall length with 185 sq. ft. of living space
Our mission continues as we take to the water! We're now driftin' home in a 1994 Sea Ray Sundancer 300. Powered by twin Mercruiser 5.7 engines, we live aboard and power about with ease. There is a full camper encloser providing a sun/screen room with table and seating for 6. Below, there is a dining area for 4, galley with sink, stove, fridge and microwave. It's a wet-head with shower, but having long hot showers out weighs the smaller shower space. The guest quarters are simply a bed and storage in a private cabin toward the aft. The captains stateroom is a queen bed with a hanging locker. dual storage areas on either side, and 2 smaller storage cabinets. It's smaller than a bus but bigger than a van... it's cozy, it's fun, and t's home!
Indeed, my latest Life Mission has launched! Called to "Ramble" the states and love and minister to as many as possible. Above sharing my love for people, I seek to share the Love of Christ! Likewise, I look for opportunities to visit laboring churches and bring relief and encouragement in any way I can.
The intention is never to "thump religion" into anyone. Rather, it's reflecting the Wonder Full light of the Lord Jesus Christ. Rather, Ramblin' Home is a resource for truth and learning… whenever you decide you're ready to hear.
The opportunity arose to take the preaching and teaching experience on the road and I'll keep on keepin’ on 'til God directs me onto a new road (or river)!
At a personal level, I want to use this incredible opportunity to experience a simpler life, enjoy this amazing country, and grow as perhaps I never have before!

With Much Love & Blessing,
Craig... and Echo
With the rising cost of fuel (and pretty much everything else), its becoming increasing difficult to remain on the road full time. In this, God, in His infinite grace, has blessed the mission new opportunities. For a season we based ourselves on a 32 acre ranch property in northern Arizona:
the SHILOH RANCH!
The ranch was a great blessing and although served a purpose, we have now been called East. Our new base is on Kentucky Lake near the "Land Between the Lakes." Echois becoming a Nauti-Dog as we move our residence from bus to boat! Here, will now be the base from which to launch when called to travel. This will allow ministry opportunity locally and seasons of rest to ready ourselves for the next assignment. Whenever called upon, the response will always be As Soon As Possible. The only difference is that our arrival will be based upon our current schedule, distance from the Marina...
and whether we travel by bus or boat LOL
The hopel is to be available any time a church or organization reaches out in need.
Please keep this mission in prayer as God begins this new chapter.
Thanks for visiting!
